We exists to protect, preserve and maintain the commons and fields

We are a volunteer lead charity. All contributions help towards the running of our commons and fields, preserving this glorious West Sussex countryside.

Membership means

- Supporting the conservation of land that is now "as rare as rainforests".

- A boot load of wood per year, depending on collection and volunteer availability. The wood comes from our scrub clearance designed to maintain the heathland. You need to chop and season this wood yourself.

There are several ways to support us

Set-up a Standing Order yourself - you stay in control and it saves us money

If you choose to support the charity, setting up an annual payment through your online banking allows you to stay in control while helping the society reduce third-party payment fees. When creating your online payment, please include your first and last name in the payment reference so we can easily link it to your membership, and, if possible, set the renewal date to 1 May.

Once you’ve set up your payment, don’t forget to drop a quick email to the Membership team so we can add your details to our system and keep you in the loop about your membership and upcoming events. While you’re at it, pop [email protected] into your contacts—it’s the easiest way to make sure our emails land in your inbox instead of disappearing into the spam abyss.

Support us via PayPal Subscriptions – memberships that auto renews each year

These memberships use PayPal Subscription services. They will automatically renew on the same date next year, and thereafter until you cancel. You will receive an email from PayPal so you can manage and cancel your subscription anytime. The society is charged third-party payment fees every year.
